Founded in Bastia in 1998 by the choreographer Hélène Taddei Lawson and the sound designer Tommy Lawson, Art Mouv’ affirms a contemporary identity thanks to its collaborations with artists from diverse backgrounds, with the aim of crossing the arts, practices and sensibilities.

 

Inspiring by its island, Corsica, but from its travels around the world, the company develops multidisciplinary projects, integrating original visual and sound devices. 

Questioning the relationship of the work and the public, the activities Art Mouv’ are choreographic creation as well as more alternative proposals such as multimedia installations, dance videos, creations in situ.

The references to contemporary dance, the hip hop trend and digital art crosses its work while its commitment to the diversity of aesthetics and cultures opens up it a wide field of experimentation and expression.
